How to Bid at the iC Auction House

From sign-up to your first win in four steps. No separate bidder registration, no hidden rules.

For bidders

   Create your free account

   Sign up with your email or Google. Your iCollecta account is your bidder account, there is nothing extra to register.

   Pro tip: Use the same account you value and organize your collection with.

2. 2

   Learn the rooms

   Pick a tier below. Each one has its own clock and starting-bid rules, and every lobby (Sports, PokéMagic, Comic HQ, Coin World, Retro Gaming) shares one floor.

   Pro tip: Filter by lobby at the top of the Auction House to see only what you collect.

3. 3

   Place your first bid

   Open any live lot and bid. Every new bid must beat the current high bid by at least 5% (minimum $1). You can't bid on your own lot or outbid yourself.

   Pro tip: Check the Comps Index before you bid so you know what the item really sells for.

4. 4

   Win and pay securely

   When the clock hits zero the high bidder wins and gets an alert. Pay through secure Stripe checkout from Won Lots on the Auction House page.

   Pro tip: Turn on live alerts below so you never miss an opening.

The three auction rooms

For sellers

1. 1

   List the item

   Add it to the Marketplace from your Seller Dashboard first. Only your own available listings can be consigned.

2. 2

   Choose a tier and starting bid

   Pick Holy Grail, Big Timers or Rookie Rush and set a starting bid inside that tier's range. The lot goes live instantly.

3. 3

   Get paid

   When your lot sells you get an alert. A 10% auction fee comes out of the final sale price.
